Do not place your full weight on the armrests of the lift chair. When moving from a walker or power chair into the lift chair, or when standing up, we recommend using assistive devices and/or having a caregiver or attendant help you for greater stability. Also, avoid dropping heavily into the seat, as this may damage the lift chair.

If you’ve lost your mobility scooter key, start by contacting your dealer. If you purchased from a local store, you’re in luck—many scooter keys are universal across models. If you can’t reach your dealer, use our dealer locator to find one nearby. To move your scooter without the key, switch it to freewheel mode using the lever under the seat. This allows you to push it manually in neutral.

The biggest difference between the two types is that 3 wheelers have a better turning radius as compared to 4 wheelers. This is most apparent in a house or similar confined area. Four-wheeled scooters originally evolved from the need for more stable operation when traveling on slopes or uneven terrain. However, newer models of 3-wheeled scooters also boast a very stable ride due to their optimized center of balance.

Power Chairs &  Mobility Scooters

Your power chair features an ABS plastic body shroud that is easy to wipe clean. Use a damp cloth to clean the plastic and metal parts, along with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. If needed, you can disinfect the power chair using an approved disinfectant—just ensure it is safe for use on the chair beforehand. Avoid products that may scratch the surface, and keep your chair free of dirt, mud, hair, food, drink, and other debris.

No, warranties for Mobility Scooter Life products are only valid for the original owner and cannot be transferred

  1. Dry it thoroughly with a towel as soon as you can.

  2. Let it sit in a warm, dry place for 12 hours to allow any hidden moisture to evaporate.

  3. Test the joystick and brakes before using your power chair again.

  4. If you notice any issues, contact your provider for service.
